Epl title contenders Liverpool have exited the UEFA Champions League. This was as a result of ther loss to spanish giants Atletico Madrid.Liverpool were the first to score kind courtesy Wijnaldum in the 43rd minute.The first half ended in favour of Liverpool. Liverpool came back and extended their lead with Roberto Firmino hitting the net in the 94th minute during extra time.Diego Simeone, was looking anxious but had hope in his guys.In the 93rd minute Llorente hit the net giving Simeone hope. In the 105+1 minute he hit the net again.This made the Atletico fans very excited and knew that things would go in their favour.During the second extra, chances were created by both sides but were not utilized well. In the 120+1 minute, Morata hit the net with an assist from Llorente.Liverpool’s dream of retaining the champions league have come to an end.

Serge Gnabry registered himself twice on the score sheet as the away team bayern beat Chelsea[home] with the score line 3:0 against chelsea.
